Privacy & your information

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 7, 2026

Human Thread Studios is a small, one-practitioner studio. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you reach out through this website. If you have questions or prefer not to fill out a form, you can always email me directly at humanthreadsstudios@gmail.com.

What I collect

When you submit the contact or discovery-call form on this site, you choose to share:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • A short note describing what's bringing you here or what you'd like to explore

I don't run advertising trackers, sell data, or use third-party analytics that profile you. Basic, anonymous server logs (such as your IP address at the moment of a request) may be kept briefly by the hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.

How it's stored

Form submissions are stored in a private, access-controlled database that powers my practitioner workspace. The database is hosted on a reputable cloud platform with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Only I can read these submissions when signed in to my practitioner account.

Who it's shared with

No one. I do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with marketers, data brokers, or other practitioners. The only third parties that ever touch your data are the technical service providers that make the website and database run (hosting, email delivery for our correspondence, and the scheduling tool you use to pick a time). They process information on my behalf under their own privacy commitments and never receive it for their own marketing.

How long it's kept

If we never end up working together, I keep your inquiry for up to 12 months and then delete it, unless you ask me to delete it sooner.

If we do work together, I keep practice records (notes, session history, contact details) for as long as our practice relationship is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return — typically no more than 3 years after our last session — unless a longer period is required by law.

How to view, correct, or delete your information

You can ask me at any time to:

  • See a copy of what I have on file for you
  • Correct anything that's wrong or out of date
  • Delete your information from my records

Just send an email to humanthreadsstudios@gmail.com from the address you originally contacted me with (or include enough detail for me to find your record), and I'll confirm and act on your request within a reasonable time — usually within 30 days.

Cookies

This site uses only the small number of technical cookies and local storage entries needed to keep you signed in to the practitioner workspace (if you have an account) and to remember accessibility preferences. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

This site and its services are intended for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this website.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, I'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where reasonable, let active clients know directly.

Questions

The simplest way to reach me about anything on this page — including a request to view or delete your information — is to email humanthreadsstudios@gmail.com.
